Introducing Katherine Rafferty: Our New Business Director, Western Australia

We are thrilled to welcome Katherine Rafferty to The Marketing Room as our new Business Director for Western Australia. With over 15 years of experience in delivering impactful brand and marketing campaigns across various sectors—including health, retail, government, and not-for-profit organisations—Katherine brings a wealth of expertise in driving brand growth, commercial success, and innovation.

Katherine’s career spans senior marketing roles, with notable experience leading high-profile projects. Most recently, as Senior Marketing Specialist at St John WA, she spearheaded marketing efforts for a $28 million government-funded project to establish new St John Urgent Care health centres in Perth. Her work involved branding, patient experience, and acquisition strategies, showcasing her ability to drive results in both health and corporate sectors.

Her extensive experience also includes her role as Local Area Marketing Manager for Kmart Australia, where she oversaw campaigns for new and refurbished stores across Australia and New Zealand, further highlighting her ability to manage complex projects and deliver results across a variety of industries.

Katherine is a strategic thinker with a results-driven approach, blending creative strategy with measurable outcomes. She has a proven track record in integrated campaign execution, brand management, PR, media buying, and stakeholder engagement, always ensuring that campaigns meet key performance metrics.

Katherine’s passion for tailored marketing solutions is grounded in a solid academic foundation, including a Bachelor of Business and Marketing, a Certificate IV in Graphic Design, and Mini MBAs in Brand Management and Marketing. She uses her strategic insights and creative capabilities to deliver comprehensive, tailored marketing solutions that ensure lasting impact.
