Following a successful career responsible for the growth of brands from both agency and client side, Tahnee launched The Marketing Room in late 2018. Tahnee identified the declining understanding of the critical role marketing plays in business growth as an opportunity for an organisation that is dedicated to the development then execution of a strategic marketing plan.
In tandem, Tahnee saw first-hand a highly experienced, passionate, and motivated group of marketing professionals with young children, lost to the industry. Since then, Tahnee has led the business to now be Australia’s largest, dedicated marketing consultancy.

Terri’s career started in marketing agencies and TV, both in Sydney and London. Over time, she progressed to heading up and running businesses in the marketing, communication, education and NFP sectors. She has worked with clients across nearly all industries including brands such as Microsoft, Unilever, Telstra, Qantas, Sydney Opera House, Invisalign and the Big 4 Banks to name a few.
Terri is proud to be part of The Marketing Academy Alumni and on the board of ADHD Australia. Her strong commercial and marketing experience enables her to understand our clients’ challenges and how strategic marketing can help overcome them.

Jane has spent her decorated career delivering integrated, effective, and award-winning communication campaigns across a range of industries. Integral to the success of all these is her passion for data and research, customer experience and human-centred design thinking. Jane’s various roles have included: Client Services Director at Block Branding and National Marketing Manager of iiNet.
During her time at various award-winning agencies in Perth and Melbourne, she has worked on accounts such as IKEA, Department of Health – WA & SA, LWP Property Group, Tourism WA, Metronet, AMP Capital – Karrinyup Shopping Centre, City of Mandurah and The Perron Group.
Chief Growth Officer
With over 20 years of industry experience, Jon is responsible for the business’s growth across the key pillars of people and culture, partnerships and marketing, and expansion and acquisition. Jon utilises his experience leading teams developed in previous professional positions as well as coaching roles with WA’s State 16s and 18s AFL Academy programs.
Following a career that included leading large brand and advertising campaigns for brands such as West Coast Eagles, Tradelink, St John of God and Steel Blue, Jon’s marketing experience is complimented by his understanding of the critical link between marketing, sales, and business strategy.
